Eye Candy Friday

I am thankful for my three sisters and for my brother.  I am thankful that we can talk often or not, laugh or cry, argue and fight, and that we bounce back every time.  I am thankful that, so far, we've managed to keep speaking to each other.  Generally.

I'm thankful that we make time for each other -- and live close enough to each other, presently, to get together often.

I'm thankful for determination and hard work, neurosurgeons and oncologists and nurses of all sorts, and for good thoughts and wishes and prayers and knitted blankets.

love the shot of the three sisters. So nice that you can get together. Fell off the diet over a long weekend when I had not planned and was not the cook...back to it now, and oh...the snow you have already? Here in the Keweenaw is still bare ground...for now! Jenny

It's wonderful (and a little enviable) that your family is close enough to see often. You have a great connection and relationship.

Having a family that's close doesn't happen by accident. Good for all of you for sticking together through thick and thin.

I know this is a crazy question, but who did the painting of the geese on the wall behind the blue blanket? It looks really familiar...

I'm not sure -- that photo was taken at my brother's house.  I'm guessing that it was probably a Duck Stamp print.  I could find out, if you'd really like to know!
