My sewing machine/nightstand is where the vanity used to be. Rather than cheap, plastic, clip-on lamps (we like to read in bed), we both have real table lamps! My husband helped his pseudo-grandfather built the little chest at the foot of the bed -- it has three drawers on each side and is so cute!
