Completed April 20, 2004. This is a tank top pattern (#16C) from Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2003. I didn't bead it, as the pattern was written, and gave it a little more length. It is knit from "Nancy," a cotton/acrylic/viscose/silk blend yarn that has been in my stash forever and ever; it's a Swiss yarn made by Schaffhauser Wolle Laine de Schaffhouse. It was knit on size US6 and US8 needles. The fabric feels wonderful, but the armholes are a little tight (darn it!). It's not a stretchy yarn at all, so we'll just have to see what happens with her. Her intended partner is the cardi pictured on the cover of the same VK issue, but knit in Schoeller Stahl "Cecil," a cotton/acrylic blend in navy blue. I'm not sure they'll be a perfect couple, but have no doubt I can find other partners for them both.
