The design for the table came from a library book about outdoor furniture. I will have to track down that resource (I borrowed many a book about building furniture and about mosaics from the library). I varied the size of the original slightly, and used broken china rather than the square ceramic tiles shown in the book. The directions were easy to follow and it was a fairly easy table to build; my resident carpenter (DH) was quite handy, too. I intend to make another table, smaller and taller (more an end table than a coffee table) for my dad's new cabin this summer, and will use the same plan as a guideline.
