Love the foundation comment --- "so within, so without" or something like that. :D I'm wishing you a very Happy New Year.

Happy New Year!

I'm glad you had such a good gathering for New Year's and remembering Sharon. Too bad about the weather, though. Sounds like you had awesome food to eat!

Your family knows how to celebrate and bring in the new!! Happy New Year, dear one!

I love that every once in a while you remind me of Chili All Day. The perfect thing to make today. ( I never do have those chili beans. I can't get them here. Don't tell me they make or break the recipe;)

What a great photo of your sister! I hope your New Year is happy!
p.s. I'd vote for the La Bete Noire, even without tasting it...

I would recognize the Gloucester Fisherman anywhere, having lived most of my life not too far from there...what a fabulous picture of Sharon...total exhiliration and exuberance! How wonderful you have such great pictures!

A Bake Off - what a sweet way to usher in a new year (no pun intended!). It sounds like great fun and lots of great eating...especially for the judges! :)
