I've drawn a lot of inspiration from the women in my life, particularly my grandmothers -- women of talent and varied creative interests. I am truly amazed and inspired by the breadth of talent around me and I've been exposed to many different types of art and craft -- it's no surprise to me that I always have to have some type of hand work in progress!

I started this blog in 2004 as a knitting blog, and I do blog mostly about knitting, but I also blog about my life, family, kids, what's for dinner, and what's on my mind. Thank you for reading.
